We travelled on the road 4 hours from Chiangmai to Mae Hong Son. The river along the road, the fog and the scenry just amazes me. It was exciting travelling into the mountian where the road is narrow and buggy. Three cars with 15 people journey in for a three hours ride on the mountain into the remotes part of that area. On the way to our location, we saw villlages who stayed in the mountain dressing in their traditional cloth. Like we all watch on the movies, they all stood by their house look at us when we drove pass or stop by for a toilet break. (Wondering where we are from.) We were filled with joy when we finally reached our destination. It's a school with 30 students from that village. We set up our medical clinic and the stage for the next days program. After a cold bath, we had our first dinner with just one flourscent light at the side. Right after the dinner, we all went to bed to have a good rest for the next day.

Wow, it's cold in the morning... I am not sure how cold it was but certainly very cold that I don't feel like touching the water.
Two teammates were early in the morning preparing our breakfast. Its was so early that its still dark with no electricity. The children was waiting for us from a distance. They definally look excited and anticapting the day. 300 children from 4 villages attended the program. Heard that some villlages were so far that they had started walking through the mountain at five in the morning to receive their gift from their sponsor. They all speaked in their traditional language that only a few could understand. The children have fun with the songs and bible story in their language. Meal was prepared for them - though I am not sure what they were eating.
